Very interesting. I didn't know how panic attacks affect dreams.

Unhappy Bashing a red and black copperhead with a piec of wood.

I was walking my dog down a dirt road. I watched him run on the side of the road, just in the grass when I heard a loud, "HISS!" and he jumped and kept running. When I got to where he jumped, all I saw was a guarder snake. Not just a guarder snake, it was dead and being eaten by a red and black copperhead! I never seen a copperhead, EVER, in real life or on television, I said in my dream, "COPPER HEAD!" and I looked up the snake breed this morning and it was the same snake I named and seen in my dream. (It was surprising...) I grabbed a near by piece of wood and started frantically bashing the snakes head in with a piece of wood. I kept hitting it over, and over and over, until it was cut open, bleeding and slimy with some ooze. The snake rolled into the ditch. I went to go toss it into the bush, but I heard that a snake could inject it's venom into you a half hour after it is dead. So I left it and went home. I begged my mother to take my dog to the vet, he could have been poisoned, but no matter how much I cried, pleaded and begged, she didn't take the dog. Then I woke up.
The day before, Clifford, (My dog,) ran into a pasture and ran strait towards a herd of horses and almost got trampled. I was screaming from outside the pasture, for him to come and screaming his name, but he just ran through the galloping horses like it was a bluff. It was pretty close to the area in my dream where I frantically beat the snake's head in. Any ideas?

Sure do. I think it's anxiety from the close call Clifford got when he went recklessly through the horses. Now when you take him for walks, you will be more conscious of dangers that could hurt him.

Default Well I do get that,

But...how did I know what the snake was? I've barley had any education on snakes before...

Sometimes that happens. It happened to me a long time ago. I dreamed about anarchy, even though I had no recall of hearing the word or knowing what it meant, but it fit the dream.

Either you didn't recall knowing about what copperhead snakes look like and your subconscious remembered, or it was one of those rare occurances when a dreaming person enters that realm that Carl Jung referred to as the "collective unconscious" and you picked it up from there.

Default I don't like the information on panic attacks

I have had several panic attacks in the past and now work in a field where i see people go through panic attacks....and i do not think that that information is very helpful. I think panic attacks are much different than explained in the posted info.

There is nothing contradictory between the article here and the Wikipedia article.
